Experience a Fusion of Reiki and Aromatherpy
Breathe Deeply and Exhale!
When was the last time you allowed your mind and body to experience stress release and relaxation?
Essential oils provide the perfect vessel to enhance your reiki experience by taking your level of relaxation and stress release to a whole new level.
During your session your body will respond to the exchange of energy when the practitioner’s hands connect with chakra’s or areas of the body that are known to have an abundance of sensitive nerve endings like your head, neck, face, upper chest, stomach, lower back, knees and feet. The contact will initiate a sensory response at the cellular and olfactory levels. This sensory response often triggers the brain to release pleasure hormones such endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine. It is the perfect combination of holistic and traditional health science.
The individual who receives a reiki session may be aware of the energy transfer or sleep right through it. Post session experiences are often described as relaxing, feeling drained from negative energy and stress, feeling light or freeing. It is not unusual for individuals to want to sit in a peaceful place and just absorb the gentle feelings of reconnection within their body. Some may want to nap afterwards; others may experience the letting go of pent up anger or grief through crying. Your experience will be unique to you. Others report experiencing dreams that have special meaning after a session.

New to Reiki & Aromatherapy?
What is Reiki ?
Reiki is a Japanese word that translates into " God, Energy, Light". The human body is filled with energy. Every cell in our body is made up of energy, vibration and light. This energy surrounds our body. As humans we react to the energy of others. Sometimes the energy is comforting, sometimes it can feel exciting, dangerous, or even scary. We use what we refer to as gut instinct to respond to these emotions. In reality, it is your energy responding to the energy of the other person or people.
Reiki is an ancient form of Japanese healthcare or medicine it is not a religion. Dr Usui a Japanese physician created the healing touch method known as reiki. As a healer, he spent time in a Buddhist monastery where he combined healing touch to seven different areas of the body known as chakras. Christian prayers and meditation may be used during a reiki session to enhance the experience.
When there is a blockage of energy disrupting the flow throughout the body it can often be manifested in physical symptoms such as stress, headache, muscle spasms, depression and fatigue. Reiki therapy should be used as a form of wellness or to supplement the care by your physician, nurse practitioner or mental health counselor. Reiki should never replace your healthcare treatment by a licensed provider.

What is Aromatherapy?
Do you have a smell that instantly takes you back to a different place and time? Is it something pleasant that warms your heart and mind like baking cookies with Grandma? Or will the smell of a campfire on a cool autumn night take back to another time in your life? Aromas can bring positive or negative emotions if an event was associated with an aroma.
Aromatherapy uses essential oils. Essential oils are derived from the distillation of plants, flowers, and trees. The distillation extracts the scent or essence of the plant.
Health experts believe that aromas have the ability to activate areas in your nose called smell receptors, which send messages through your nervous system to your brain. During an aromatherapy session your body will send messages via the smell receptors to your brain, this includes the limbic system. The limbic system controls automatic responses such as fight or flight, pleasure, and pain. The limbic system can attach an emotion or memory to an aroma. This explains your automatic reponse when exposed to the aroma of baking cookies or campfires.

Young Living Oils

After 28 years of personal and professional use of oils and lotions I opted to choose Young Living Essential Oils and Products for my business. The essential oils are 100% pure and and oil blends are an incredible enhancement. In my opinion it is due to the lengthy research behind the plant/ tree combinations. Part of the research was done on the response by the human body both physically and emotionally.
D. Gary Young dedicated his career and life to using science in creating essential oil blends that help your body to relax , release, heal and energize.
